Luke 20:9-18 The Parable of the Wicked Servants
As we study this parable of Christ's, we will consider four lessons that we can take away and apply to our own lives.
1. The Remarkable Patience of God
When we consider God's patience towards us, we must never have our heart set to test God's patience. His patience does not last forever.
2. The Deep Corruption of the Human Heart
The wicked tenants reveal to us how corrupt humanity has become, and our great need of a Savior.
3. The Severity of God's Judgment
The last verse of this parable is one of severe judgment for severe sins.
4. The True Identity of Christ
In this passage, Christ refers to himself as the "beloved Son." What is meant by this phrase, and how does that apply to our life in Christ?
